2003 July 11 Hindi Wikipedia is launched.
2011 India's Internet population is estimated at 100 million users.[1]
2012–2015 Hindi search queries triple in the period, while the search term “समाचार” (Hindi for “news”) more than doubles, further indicating that the desire for local-language content is in fact growing.[2]
2021 Hindi language users are predicted to make up 38% of all Indian language internet users in India by the time.[3]
