1958 Organization founding George Gallup consolidates all his polling operations under Gallup, Inc. United States
1990 Organization founding The Times Mirror Company founds the Times Mirror Center for the People & the Press to conduct polls on politics and policy. This would later become the Pew Research Center.[2] United States
1996 Organization changes The Times Mirror Center for the People & Press becomes the Pew Research Center for the People & Press, as a result of the Pew Charitable Trusts becoming its primary sponsor. United States
