- I wonder if it's worth talking more about who James Martin is (as an early funder of FHI and endower of the Oxford Martin School) and why he was interested in funding FHI? The Anders Sandberg report https://ora.ox.ac.uk/objects/uuid:8c1ab46a-061c-479d-b587-8909989e4f51/files/s707959314 that you cite has a paragraph on James Martin and some other scattered references.
- Adding a column to the full timeline such as "Topic" or "Work stream" that can be used to classify the broad topic / work stream that individual rows are for, would be very helpful to make the timeline easier to scan and sort. It's fine if many rows don't have a value for that column.
- In the row about how FHI launched GovAI, maybe also mention that GovAI would become independent in 2021 (cf. https://forum.effectivealtruism.org/posts/5vGsFzWvh8Snet6sK/the-centre-for-the-governance-of-ai-has-relaunched) and maybe also add a separate row for it.
- Please clean up the various citation errors/warnings (you can see them as the red highlights at Timeline of Future of Humanity Institute#References).
